In the castle courtyard, music from the films The Proud Princess, How to Train Your Dragon, The Little Mermaid and evening melodies will be heard under the open sky. The concert will take place as part of the multi-genre festival Smetana's Dreams.
The symphony orchestra, from which today's Nové Město Philharmonic Orchestra (NoFi) is based, was founded in Nové Město nad Metují in 1960. Since then, several generations of players have taken turns in it, who together honor the mission of NoFi – to spread the love (not only) for classical music.

In recent years, the orchestra has toured the Czech Republic, where it has presented parts of Bedřich Smetana's My Homeland, Gustav Holst's Planets, jazz and musical melodies, and music from John Williams' Star Wars in thematic concerts. In addition to traditional concert halls, NoFi has also performed in the Bethlehem Chapel and the Wallenstein Gardens in Prague, or in the Broumov Monastery.

From time to time, the orchestra's concerts feature guest choirs or soloists. The latter include singer Ondřej Ruml, followed by pianist Matyáš Novák, violinist Petr Zdvihal, soprano Lucia Bildová, and pianist Lukáš Vondráček.
