August 8, 2026 - 21st Battle of the Kłodzko Fortress

The Battle of the Kłodzko Fortress is now an annual celebration of our fortifications. The event culminates in a reenactment of the battle, in which several hundred reenactors participate – cavalry, artillery, and explosions (pyrotechnics). Numerous attractions await you throughout the day at the Kłodzko Fortress. Historical stands showcasing different eras, ancient crafts…

The battle reenactment will be themed around the siege of the fortress by Napoleon's troops in 1807. Reenactors will present history from the late Middle Ages to World War II. Military equipment will be on display. Dressed troops will march through the city. An Antiques Fair will also be held in the Old Town. So don't miss it!
