TRAKT 2026: Bike, Foot, or Motorcycle Through Dzierżoniów
A grand celebration of sports and Czech-Polish cuisine awaits!
On May 10th, the Dzierżoniów Market Square will transform into a true sports hub. This is where the next edition of TRAKT – the All-Terrain Rally for Cycling and Tourism Amateurs – will kick off. For the first time, the event will feature a unique culinary element, making it not only a test of fitness but also a journey into the depths of local flavors. This is all thanks to a Polish-Czech project and European Union funding.
The organizers have prepared 12 diverse routes, making the rally suitable for both advanced athletes and families with young participants. There are three hiking routes to choose from (2.5 km, 12 km, and 25 km), eight cycling routes (ranging from 10 km to a challenging 100 km), and one scenic motorcycle route (170 km).
All races will start at the Dzierżoniów Market Square from 8:00 AM. The finish line will await participants at the Sports and Recreation Center (OSiR), where daredevils will enjoy not only a well-deserved rest but also a wealth of attractions.
Free Start, Starter Pack Included
The event is free for everyone. On the day of the rally, just before the start, you can register for your chosen route. Each participant will receive a starter pack – a regenerating set of sweet snacks, mineral water, and an apple – and a route map. Tourists from the Czech Republic will also be participating – and we cordially invite them. Guides and medical services will ensure safety along the route.
Polish-Czech Feast and Attractions for Children
But that's not all. This year's TRACT will make history thanks to a new feature – a Polish-Czech Feast. At the finish line at the OSiR, there will be a tasting of regional dishes from both sides of the border. Our guests from our partner town of Lanskroun will join us on our trails and bring back the flavors of the Czech Republic, while we'll have the opportunity to introduce them to Polish specialties. This is a great opportunity to experience our neighbor's cuisine without leaving Dzierżoniów.
There are plenty of attractions for the youngest participants: bouncy castles, a slide, and face painting. Announcers will also ensure everyone has a great time, and the entire event will be captured in professional photos.
Prizes await at the finish line
Participating in the rally is more than just a sporting challenge and a culinary adventure. At the finish line, participants will be entered into a prize draw. There are cycling accessories, pool passes, sweets, and the grand prize is a touring bike!
The event finale is scheduled for 8:00 PM. It's worth setting aside a full day, as TRAKT 2026 promises to be a true celebration of team-building, activity, and fun.
