The exhibition Monarchs of the Czech Lands and Their Wives in the exhibition spaces of the castle offers an unusual encounter with personalities who shaped the destinies of our countries, and will entertain not only adults but also children.

You will see here a unique carving collection of more than 130 colored relief images from linden wood by the carver Jarmila Haldová, which depicts Czech rulers from Prince Bořivoj I to the Habsburg monarchy.

The author has been working on the work for over 15 years, and each relief was created based on a thorough study of historical sources, and stands out for its elaborate details of period clothing, hairstyles, and characteristic features of individual rulers.

Come and admire the unique combination of artistic mastery, historical accuracy, kind playfulness, and love for Czech history.
