PM Dr hab. Maciej Szymczyk - historian, specializing in economic history, director of the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki-Zdrój and editor-in-chief of the "Rocznik Muzeum Papiernictwa". Author of over 200 scientific publications. In 2011, as a result of his efforts, the President of the Republic of Poland granted the status of a Historical Monument to the paper mill in Duszniki-Zdrój. Author of the currently implemented concept of including the most valuable European paper mills on the UNESCO list. Member of the Council for Museums and Places of National Remembrance at the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
