Concert by the outstanding French pianist Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat as part of the 12th Edition of the Lower Silesian Music Festival Song of the Earth Pierre Laurent-Bourcharlat - piano PROGRAM Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonatas Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat (France) played his first concert with an orchestra at the age of 13, and gave his first recital at the age of 15. After graduating with distinction from the Lycée de Musique in Lyon, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat was unanimously accepted to the Troisième Cycle in Paris to the class of Jean-Claude Pennetier. He then continued his studies with Monique Deschaussées, a student of Alfred Cortot and Edwin Fischer. A laureate of international competitions (Spedidam Prize, Darius Milhaud Prize), and the breakthrough in his career was the year 2000, when his CD, a live recording of 24 Chopin studies, was released and was favorably announced in Le Piano magazine. Since then, he has been invited to perform in many countries in Europe (Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Sapin, Belgium, Greece, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Macedonia), Asia (Kazakhstan, Siberia) and America (United States, Canada, Mexico). He can be heard regularly in recitals and as a soloist with orchestra, as well as in chamber music, especially with the Ensemble Promethée, which he founded in 2005. He collaborates with renowned partners such as Pascal Amoyel, Vadim Tchijik, Philippe Bernold, Emmanuelle Bertrand, David Bismuth, Nicolas Dautricourt, Florent Héau, Mark Drobinsky, Hugo Ticciati, Archimede Quartett and Wiener Kammersymphonie.
